Children of machine

The next hundred years are going to be defined by declining populations and low birth rates. Just as the past was defined by population growth, the future will be defined by population collapse. Things are going to snap back hard. Will humans finally learn to control the forces that control us? To master our own technology? Probably not.

Whatever happens, three worlds will emerge and inhabit the same Earth: the Luddites, the transhumanists, and the patriarchs. Each will be a response to collapsing birth rates.

The Luddites will take the Amish approach. They will turn against technology and birth control itself. If they also turn against reproductive technology, their approach has a chance of working.

The transhumanists will build artificial womb technology so they can continue to live their hedonistic liberal lifestyle. In the beginning, it may empower them; in the end, it may only empower corporations and governments. Governments already have the power of death. Soon they may also have the power of life.

The patriarchs are the term I give to Catholic traditionalists, the Taliban, the Islamic State, and any other hybrid religious, fanatical, male-dominated order. They will seek to raise birth rates through the oppression of women.

It's all going to be shit, and I'm not sure I even want to be here when it happens. Maybe Skynet will kill us all. Maybe God will have mercy on us. No matter which approach wins, humanity loses.

Brain organoid computation is becoming a reality, and if the economics work in its favor, the most valuable asset a human has might be the gray matter between their ears.

There are two parallel trends happening here. One is the collapse of humanity, and the other is the ascent of artificial intelligence. If the ascent is real, then the collapse becomes kind of irrelevant.

There are two futures: one where AI takes over and another where it does not. Within the category where AI does not take over are the three approaches to dealing with birth-rate collapse. Since reality is messy, something tells me that all four possible futures will exist simultaneously, living together and at war with one another.

Humans are incapable of fighting a force unless it wears a face. If artificial superintelligence exists, then a real face will be put on technology, giving humanity the ability to fight it—to finally control the technological forces we have unleashed that now control us.

That assumes, of course, that we have a chance of winning.

Even if we don't fight the AI, the mere presence of a superintelligence may cause humans to finally treat technology as something worthy of being controlled. There is a possible future where humanity lives side by side with AI and masters the technology that controls us. I mean all the other technology: birth control, screens, the internet, and so on.

Then there are the various horrific alternatives.

Control the forces that control you, or live like rats in the shadow of the machine.

Schism elections

Nick Fuentes recently said that we need a tyrant to destroy the zionists.

Yeah Nick but what if the zionist is the tyrant? Now you've got the same circumstances as the countless wars of religion waged by Europeans. There is a reason we have a separation of church and state, and a reason we should also have a separation of secular ideology and state. Mixing the two and trying to impose ideas on people always leads to civil wars because people demand the sovereignty of their own minds.

Conflict is a ratchet that moves us towards centralization, but that is the opposite of the direction you really want to go. A better idea is to have a national election at the county level. First people choose left wing or right wing, then only the ones who chose the category that got the majority of votes, (left or right) gets to choose the next category. So if the majority wins the first round only the people who won get to vote in the second round and maybe there's even a third round.

This is a schism election. It's purpose is not to determine what the majority wants but to carve out countless little city-states of varying political systems. Each of the 3,100 counties and parishes in the United States chooses a political system. Why do this at the county level? Isn't this just a reformulation of states rights? No, it is not. The county level is necessary because the state level is not fine-grained enough. If you do this on a state by state basis you wind up with people trapped in political systems they don't like and that denies them proper representation. The schism election takes place at the county level so that a number of different political systems comes into existence. The schism election asks a bunch of different questions and could be formulated as follows:

First part of the ballot: the social attitudes election: "would you choose a socially left-wing or right wing system?

If the majority chooses socially left wing then the people who voted in that category and only the people who voted in that category get to vote in the left round. They are asked the following:

Should transgender issues be taught in school?
Should trans surgeries be allowed on minors as young as 15?
Should trans surgeries and healthcare be paid for by the government?
Should hate speech be criminalized?
Should people be required to use a person's chosen pronouns?
Should sex work be legal?
Should topless nudity be allowed?
Should our county be a sanctuary county for undocumented immigrants?
Should access to safe and legal abortion be a right?
Should access to contraceptives free of charge be all right?
Should the government cover abortion costs and make access free of charge?

And maybe some others...

Whatever they vote becomes the mandate of that county.

If the majority chooses socially right wing then only the people who voted economically right wing get to vote in the right round. They get asked the following:

Should abortion be illegal in all cases?
Should abortion be illegal except in cases of rape and incest?
Should teaching trans issues and ideology be illegal in our schools?
Should compulsory speech be prohibited?
Should criminalization of hate speech be prohibited?
Should use of the H-1B visa program be prohibited in our county?
Should all illegal immigrants in our county be deported?
Should pedophiles be given the death penalty?
Should there be a three strikes law where life imprisonment is the consequence?
Should there be school resource officers in schools?
Should violent black criminals be deported to africa?
Should parents be given vouchers to pay teachers individually in schools?
Should public schools be abolished?
Should child protective services be eliminated?
Should requiring a license for a business that does not involve health or safety be abolished?
Should anti-discrimination laws be abolished?
Should non-violent marital rape be legalized?
Should alimony be abolished?
Should women's education end at age 14?
Should women lose the right to vote?

Again, whatever the people vote for becomes the mandate of that county.

Second part of the ballot: there is a simultaneous economic attitudes election. This one does not have a sub-election because it doesn't need it. The people are asked the following:

Should housing be a human right?
Should there be a universal healthcare system?
Should zoning be abolished and replaced with a form based code?
Should the minimum wage be fixed to the cost of rent so that it automatically goes up?
Should companies with 150 or more workers be owned by their workers?
Should all mortgages, student loans, credit card debt, public debt, and all other debt be canceled?
Should mothers be given maternity leave and free healthcare for the delivery of children?

Anyway, the whole point of a schism election is that instead of asking the majority what it wants on each and every issue you are specifically asking a majority within the majority what it wants. First you ascertain who the majority is, then that majority is asked what it desires. You do it this way because without a sub-election the first round losers will continue to influence decisions in subsequent rounds. Maybe you want that for things like economic attitudes but you don't want it for social attitudes. Letting the minority influence the policies of the majority causes those policies to be watered down. A schism election maintains the full strength of how those policies would evolve while creating a multitude of different approaches separated by their locations in space. Each county becomes a specific experiment in the combination of policies that it chose.

There is one absolute rule here that all systems must obey: the right of exit. You must allow people to leave your county. So let's say you oppress women. Well you must allow women to leave, and that means you are going to have the sexual equivalent of a brain drain. You are then going to have to offer compensatory benefits to entice them to stay or relax some of your oppressive rules, or a combination of the two. Exit is the only absolute right. People have the right to exit, but they don't have the right to enter. If there is a county surrounded by other counties that are also oppressive those counties must allow travel through their territory to a county that is not oppressive and willing to accept the refugee. This can be in the form of a bus that does not allow passengers to exit before arriving at the destination or a plane that goes directly to the destination. If necessary the federal government sends buses or planes into a county and aid groups coordinate allowing people to leave. Having a tiny part of your population siphoned off every year it's just the trade-off you have to accept for your radical system. They are not allowed to actively recruit people though, only to passively advertise relocation services, and activists stiring up trouble are jailed.

You need some sort of federal process to enable this. Maybe this is where your king comes into play.

The cognitive horizon and the chain of causality

A horizon is a point at which you cannot see beyond. When you look at the horizon of the earth and it curves downward and you cannot see beyond it. The event horizon of a black hole is the point at which light cannot escape.

Let's invent a term. We will call it the "cognitive horizon." The cognitive horizon is the point at which your ability to understand your political situation fails because your knee jerk emotions get in the way of seeing the whole picture. Capitalism, or international jewelry, or the deep state, or the cathedral, or the machine system, or whatever the fuck you want to call it operates in the shadow created by your own cognitive horizon. It is your own knee jerk emotions and emotional responses that enable your subjugation. You cannot see what you cannot reason about. If a normal human can see one or two steps ahead, the machine system operates three or four steps ahead. It operates in the shadow of your own cognition, in the blind spot created by your own emotional volatility. This is the cognitive horizon of capitalism.

Let's talk about replacement theory. Let's talk about the theory and that whites are being replaced. I like talking about this theory because it is the one thing that provokes everyone's knee jerk reactions the most and if you can control those reactions you can control anything about your emotions. Mastery of the most explosively controversial subject naturally helps master all lesser subjects. What you are mastering is your own emotional reactions, keep that in mind.

Replacement theory is true but it is also a lie of omission. The machine is at war with the biosphere. Native americans were replaced by whites. Whites are being replaced by latinos. When the time comes they too will be replaced. Everyone gets replaced eventually by the machine, even israelis. Maybe they get replaced by cyborgs, maybe we all get replaced by cyborgs and AI. The machine is at war with the entire biosphere. As much as your race matters to you, it does not matter to the machine, it's just business you see. Your entire race is just meat for its appetite. You might think the world revolves around your genocide as a palestinian person, or your replacement as a white person, or your subjugation as a woman. You might think it's all about the jews or patriarchy or whatever. But it's not. The machine is at war with the entire biosphere and you are just a small subset of that biosphere. It isn't just killing you, it's killing animals, it's spreading invasive species all over the entire planet. It's cutting down the rainforest and replacing everything there with monocrops. It's bleaching the coral reefs, causing ocean acidification, exterminating entire biospheres, global warming, and now Kessler syndrome. It's putting plastic in your balls and brain, destroying sperm counts and causing autism and parkinson's with persistent organic pollutants. It's at war with the entire biosphere. When it creates idiocracy that's because the war takes place within your body. When it creates pollution the war takes place outside of your body. The war is everything on all fronts against everyone simultaneously. If you are the beneficiaries of the system that is only a temporary arrangement. It can wipe israel out just as easily as anyone else. There are billionaires who think they will "exit" by becoming digitally uploaded minds. Actually they will just relegate themselves to a kind of living digital hell where they become a digital parasite that inhabits the bodies of "sleeves" and androids — basically demonic possession from a digital entity. They will lose themselves in their new bodies and their minds will mutate uncontrollably until all humanity is gone and they go insane.

Humans tend to break along two lines that are both equally insane. Some humans become natural selection worshipers. They call selection Gnon (nature and nature's god) when it is really more like Moloch. I'm guilty of having done this. The others are fanatical denialists who treat the mere discussion of natural selection as heretical. They are both operating from within what humans can see. A little bit further out, a little over the cognitive horizon is a third position: mastery. If natural selection under capitalism is converting human beings into idiots and sociopaths then we must bend the system to our will so that it favors the reproduction of better persons. If technology is out of control then we must control its use even at the expense of forgoing profit. If profit cannot be forgone then we must engineer the incentives so that selection effects benefit the humanness of humanity. If the machine cannot be negotiated with at point X, then you find the point in the chain of causality directly prior to X at point W and control it at that point. If you cannot control it at point W in the causal chain of its causes and effects, then you must control it at causal point V. To gain mastery over a system your map is chains of cause and effect, then you see if you can hack the system at each of its points along that chain. If the points on the chain you are operating at do not allow you to modify the system then you go directly to the point prior to that. For example, if you cannot get Congress to do something then you get the donors to manipulate Congress to do something. The donors are the direct causal prerequisite point on the chain to the congressman. The chain goes something like, technological forces --> profits --> donors -->  lawmakers --> laws.

If you can't get anything done at the law maker level it's because you need to master the level or levels prior to it. Just like there is a "tech tree" there is a "causality tree" and I have talked about this before ad nauseam. My whole damn thesis is about it.

But more and more I am convinced there is no "tech solution" that can positively influence the downstream forces of profit, donors, and lawmakers. The tech is the problem and some sort of civilization frozen in the past is the solution. Exactly what era is appropriate probably depends on what technology you're talking about. Phones should probably be answering machines and landlines like they were in the 90s. Computers could have almost all the current uses but without social media, streaming, or porn. Basically freeze computers in the 2000s but with more RAM and memory. Reproductive technology gets abolished for anyone who doesn't already have kids. Transportation goes back to trains and street cars, very 1940s. Society becomes a more modern version of the Amish. Healthcare is allowed to advance, including gene editing for improving health, but not cyborg enhancements or neural interfaces, and definitely not biological computation. America withdrawals behind its walls with its nukes while horrors beyond comprehension consume the rest of the world. Your civilization stagnates but at least it's your civilization. You do not get totally cucked by the machine god. You get to remain human, you get to remain sane, and your society's problems stay manageable.

Just like the ring of power only serves sauron, advanced technology only serves the machine god, it only serves the antichrist.
